Ken McNamara joins Blue Line Advisors bringing to the company a broad range of aerospace leadership and general management experience. Ken’s most recent assignment was that of Vice President Customer Support for Eclipse Aviation (Albuquerque, NM), with executive responsibility for all product support, aircraft maintenance, customer care, and pilot and maintenance training for the Eclipse 500 Very Light Jet. Prior to that, Ken was associated with Kohlberg & Company as the President and CEO of Allied Aerospace (Newport News, VA). Executive responsibility included leading various business initiatives in the development and manufacture of aerospace prototype products and R&D projects for NASA, including the X-43 hypersonic aircraft. Additionally the company designed and developed compressor jet engine test rigs for Rolls Royce and Pratt & Whitney. Past assignments included President and CEO of Hughes Avicom International (acquired by Rockwell Collins Passenger Systems), providing in-flight entertainment systems to the airline industry. Earlier career experience included extensive executive management assignments with Singer-Link Flight Simulation, CAE Electronics, and Hughes Training International encompassing all aspects of the training and simulation industry. Ken served on active duty with the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator, retiring with the rank of Captain. He is a former pilot with Continental Airlines. Ken holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Manhattan College (NYC). He is a life member of the Navy League and a member of the Naval Reserve Association. |
